NBC has given pilot orders to a workplace comedy from Jimmy Fallon and a starring vehicle for Parenthood’s Monica Potter.
In the untitled Potter project, the actress will play a woman juggling her busy family life as well as her three ex-husbands, which proves difficult when she starts dating again. Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer will write and executive-produce with Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman. The project, which Potter will also produce, will keep the actress with the network after Parenthood airs its series finale on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Fallon’s project Sharing is a workplace comedy about the different groups of people working side by side in a shared office space. Jeremy Bronson will write and executive-produce with Fallon and Rick Schwartz.
