Lily Tomlin stands up for her granddaughter and tells a boy he “looks like an armpit” in a clip from Paul Weitz’s Grandma, which is premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. In the film, Tomlin’s character hits the road with her granddaughter, Sage, who is in need of money—and the clip, which comes via Deadline, features Tomlin’s character doling out some serious chastisement regarding condoms and sex ed as she helps her granddaughter (Julia Garner) deal with an evasive boy (Nat Wolff).

Weitz, whose credits include About a Boy and Admission, wrote and directed the movie, which also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Laverne Cox, and Sam Elliott.

The film is this year’s closing night film.
