'You're the Worst' star Aya Cash to guest on 'Modern Family'

You’re the Worst’s Aya Cash has landed a guest-starring role on Modern Family, EW has learned.

The actress, whose credits also include Wolf of Wall Street and The Newsroom, will appear in the Feb. 4 episode as Vanessa, a college interviewer who meets with Alex (Ariel Winter).

Word on the street is Cash was asked to do the role by Modern Family executive producer Steve Levitan because he’s a big fan of her FX comedy You’re the Worst.

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
