Even if you don’t own a calendar, one look at this dreary, derivative sci-fi thriller would tell you it’s January. Bruce Willis, acting like he just (reluctantly) woke up from a nap, plays a tech whiz who runs a virtual-reality resort where customers pay big bucks to live out their sex-and-sin fantasies. But problems arise in this cyber-Sodom when one of its artificial denizens (Ambyr Childers) becomes self-aware and joins forces with a stubborn, matchstick-chewing cop (Thomas Jane) to hang Willis’ puppet master by his own strings. Everything about Vice feels like recycled goods. It’s basically Westworld meets Blade Runner programmed by glitchy filmmaking replicants. D+
