Mike Myers signs two-year overall deal with HBO

HBO announced today that it has signed an overall deal with Mike Myers. The deal, which includes TV exclusivity, will run for two years.

“Mike Myers is one of the great comedy minds of this or any other era,” Michael Lombardo, President of HBO Programming, said in a press release. “The opportunity to collaborate with a talent of his stature is tremendously exciting.”

Most recently, the Wayne’s World and Austin Powers star made his directorial debut with the documentary Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.

“I’m thrilled to be at HBO,” Myers said in a release.
