Kathryn Hahn returning to 'Parks and Recreation'
Do you have a feeling that Kathryn Hahn is going to appear in the final season of NBC’s Parks and Recreation? Then you are Barkley-ing up the right tree, friend.
Hahn will reprise her role as Jennifer Barkley, the blunt, supercharged political consultant who scored Ben (Adam Scott) a congressional campaign job in Washington and then last season, after Ben paid her $1200 for an hour of her time, she implored Leslie (Amy Poehler) to think much bigger than Pawnee. “She’s doing what she always does—she bursts into the world of the show, throws a hand grenade that’s a combination of fear and opportunity, and then runs out the door before anyone can catch her,” Parks executive producer Michael Schur tells EW.
Hahn, who stars in the upcoming Showtime comedy Happyish and has a recurring role on Amazon’s Transparent, is slated to pop up in multiple Parks episodes this season. She joins a guest list for season seven (which kicked off Tuesday night) that includes Jon Hamm, Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones, Rachel Dratch, and Paul Rudd.
