Australian singer Vassy has established herself as a star in the EDM world as the voice of two finely tuned club smashes, Crazibiza and Dave Audé’s “Hustlin'” and David Guetta and Showtek’s “Bad.” Now she’s got crossover pop success in her sights with her new album, We Are Young, which comes out tomorrow.

After her success with high-gloss EDM, you might expect Vassy to follow up with a set of polished dance pop. Instead, she’s gone a more interesting route, smashing together electronic bubblegum, boisterous retro soul, and a sunny tropical disposition, resulting in something that sounds like Meghan Trainor channeling M.I.A.—or a 21st century update of Bow Wow Wow.

We Are Young is available for pre-order now.
