Glee returns for its sixth and final season this Friday on Fox at 8 p.m. ET. The show is tackling one of the most iconic pop songs of recent years, Frozen‘s “Let It Go,” and EW has the exclusive clip of Lea Michele’s performance. The video will also be shown on tonight’s episode of American Idol.

Here’s some context: Rachel Berry (Michele) has returned home to Lima, Ohio and McKinley High School to get the glee club up and running again after Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) disbanded it. This emotional number is the climax to the first hour of the two-part premiere and has added significance since the tune’s original singer Idina Menzel played Rachel’s mother on the show.

Plus: important news, Gleeks. You can catch up on the latest season before the premiere on Hulu with a Plus subscription. Then head to Hulu to watch new episodes of Glee‘s final season beginning Saturday.
