Back in the days before YouTube, a Marv Albert appearance on David Letterman’s show was bound to feature a few hilarious sports videos you’d never seen before. Dubbed the Albert Achievement Awards, his periodic collection of sports bloopers and blunders was a must-see Hall of Infamy.

Last night, the New York sportscaster returned for his 126th and, in all likelihood, final appearance on Letterman’s show, which is ending in May. Albert dusted off some of the all-time great clips, scouring the video archives for the funniest moments in sports—from Jose Canseco’s skull-deflected home run to the boxing referee who takes one on the chin. Even if you’ve see them 100 times by now, it’s still special to watch them combined with the traditional ragtime musical score and Letterman’s background cackling.
