Visit scenic Westeros: 'Game of Thrones' exhibition sets tour dates
While viewers wait for a return to Westeros, HBO is giving fans around the world another chance to sit on the Iron Thrones themselves while they wait.
HBO announced Wednesday that Game of Thrones: The Exhibition will return for the third year in a row to allow fans of the show a chance to check out more than 70 pieces of costumes, weapons, replica, and other gear from the show.
The tour is currently set to make seven stops, though more locations could be added in the future. The exhibition will appear in London, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Madrid, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris. Fans in London can visit the exhibition on Feb. 9-12 and 15-17, and those in Tel Aviv will be able to attend on April 5-9. Dates in the other five locations have yet to be announced.
The exhibition will include everything from House banners to swords to replicas of a White Walker and the Iron Throne. HBO also promises that certain items from the fifth season will be on display, in addition to memorable pieces from the first four seasons.
Attendees will also pledge their allegiance to one of Westeros’ Houses before entering the exhibition, so be prepared to always pay your debts or worry about winter being on its way while attending.
The exhibition will also bring back one of last year’s most popular attractions—a virtual reality version of the White Wall. Using the Oculus Rift VR headset, attendees can climb to the top of the wall and take in the beautiful view without worrying about bundling up for the cold weather.
