Agent Carter is chock full of references to past Marvel projects—especially Captain America, naturally—and the ABC drama already threw in a nifty Easter egg to Iron Man 2 in its series premiere.

When Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Jarvis (James D’Arcy) seek to locate where a nitromene bomb has come from, they find help from Stark Industries’ Dr. Anton Vanko (Costa Ronin), who made a brief appearance in the Iron Man sequel (then played by Eugene Lazarev) as the father of Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke), otherwise known as the villain Whiplash.

In the film, Whiplash attempts to take vengeance on Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), whose father Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) had Anton deported after he attempted to get rich off their joint invention, the famous Arc Reactor that goes on to power the Iron Man suit.

Marvel’s Agent Carter airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
