The gossip-saturated news of the Internet is invading television again.

The Weinstein Company announced on Monday that they are partnering with American Media Inc. to develop and produce a talk show based on the entertainment and gossip site Radar Online.

“We’re so delighted to be partnering with American Media and their Radar Online brand in this exciting new venture. Our television department has made a huge mark in the reality programming sector, and we’re so happy to be taking the next step into the talk show format. We aim to set ourselves apart from the others by offering viewers the widest range of stories out there and delivering them in the most entertaining way possible,” said TWC Co-Chairman, Harvey Weinstein, in a statement.

According to TWC’s press release, the program will be composed of a live daily show format akin to Entertainment Tonight and Inside Edition, with a personality component comparable to Chelsea Lately.
