Although rumors have swirled for some time that Paul McCartney and Kanye West were collaborating, they haven’t amounted to anything concrete—until yesterday. Even though it’s not as colorfully titled as “Piss on Your Grave,” another song the West and McCartney purportedly collaborated on together, “Only One” is a tender ballad where West channels his late, beloved mother and reflects on his life. West is known for hyperbolic self-aggrandizement, but “Only One” is a reminder of the sentimentalist beneath the braggadocio. West fires up the Auto-Tune à la 808s and Heartbreak, while the former Beatle accompanies on keyboard.

The song is available on iTunes, though it’s already been posted to YouTube, naturally.
