Katt Williams pleads not guilty in robbery case
Comedian Katt Williams has pleaded not guilty to robbery that involved a photographer accusing Williams of stealing her camera.
The Associated Press reports that Williams entered his plea Wednesday and is scheduled for a hearing on Feb 3. The incident occurred on Sept. 5 when the photographer attempted to take Williams’ picture in Beverly Hills. Death Row Records founder Suge Knight was also charged in the incident.
According to CNN, Williams faces up to seven years if convicted; Knight faces up to 30 years if convicted, due to a prior conviction involving assault with a deadly weapon.
