'Gone Girl' actress Kim Dickens cast in 'Walking Dead' spinoff
Kim Dickens, who played suspicious detective Rhonda Boney in Gone Girl, has been cast in the Walking Dead spinoff, EW has confirmed.
Deadline first reported that Dickens had been cast as the female lead in the pilot, which takes place in the same zombie-infested universe as the original series. Cliff Curtis has been tapped as the male lead. Per Deadline, Dickens will play a guidance counselor in a relationship with Curtis’s character. Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey have also been cast.
Though Dickens had a breakout movie role this year in David Fincher’s mystery, she has also starred in Deadwood and Treme, and has appeared on Lost, Friday Night Lights, and Sons of Anarchy.
