Miguel releases 3 surprise tracks

Miguel just dropped three new tracks in a genre that one might call “baby-making music.”

Thesinger took to Soundcloud to release three slick songs this Friday morning: the beat-heavy “NWA” featuring the rapper Kurupt, the guitar-accented “Hollywood Dreams,” and the romantic ode “Coffee.”

The songs come with a sense of gratification that’s something like the long-awaited arrival of the drop in a dub-step song: Miguel last released an album in 2012 with Kaleidoscope Dreams, so it’s due time for more swooning R&B to inundate the airwaves.
