British electronic group Clean Bandit  just got a Grammy nod for their runaway hit single, “Rather Be,” featuring Jess Glynne, and you know how when you get really good news you want to celebrate by getting a homework assignment? Us too, so we asked them to make us a playlist.

Maybe it’s because their enjoying their final stretch at home before hitting the road (upcoming dates listed below), but they made us “Songs to Listen to in the Bath.”

Four Tet – As Serious As Your Life, Jay Dee Remix featuring Guilty Simpson

“This doesn’t make me want to dance, but it’s kind of irresistible on the head nodding front—bath time gold.”

Joy Orbison – So Derobe

“This bubbles under for so long and is so beautiful. Very appropriate.”

Years & Years – Memo

“This is for people who want to cry or be turned on in the bath. Most exquisite song I’ve heard in 2014.”

Movement – Like Lust

“I saw these guys live, and it was just as languid and sultry as in the recording.”

Lapsley – Falling Short

“Sometimes it’s nice to hear new music in your bath, especially when it’s as good as this. For bath times, I mostly prefer stuff I already have memories attached to, though.”

Tchaikovsky – Symph. 6 Movement 1

“Sometimes it’s nice for your bath to be one long journey rather than lots of little three-minute pop songs, and this movement ends with a simple sort of divine melody over some descending scales, which is a nice way to bring bath time to an end.”

Submerse – Forgive Me

“This is bordering on meditative; calmer than a shower but not quite a sauna.”

Clean Bandit – Stronger

“This is a new track by us that’s on the repackage of our album. We’ve been playing it live all autumn and it’s so fun for us to perform that we had to record it. (I don’t really listen to this in the bath, to be honest.)”
