Former Fox News correspondent Dominic Di-Natale has died. He was 43.

According to Fox, Di-Natale’s body was found on Wednesday after a friend alerted officials that they were worried about his state of mind regarding some health issues. The coroner in Jefferson County, Colorado then determined that Di-Natale took his own life.

Di-Natale began working at Fox News in 2007, where he covered international news, from the aftermath of the raid at Usama bin Laden’s compound to the more recent riots in Ferguson, Mo. He was a freelance reporter up until the end of last month when he resigned. His last appearance occurred on November 30.

Fox News’ spokesperson released a statement: “We were extremely saddened to learn of Dominic’s passing and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was an esteemed journalist and an integral part of our news coverage throughout the Middle East.”
