Med school might not be in the cards for Schmidt and Jenko in the third Jump Street film, despite what the end credits of 22 Jump Street may have predicted. Or med school may involve aliens: The Wall Street Journal reported that emails leaked by Sony hackers indicate that the next Jump Street film will crossover with the Men in Black franchise.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller have made a habit of taking projects that seem opportunistic and making them innovative, and this seems to give them another opportunity to do just that. According to the Journal, the pair, who also worked together on The Lego Movie, are on board as producers and may direct.

Though the emails appear to imply that Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith would not be heavily involved, if at all, Jonah Hill seems enthused, telling Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal in an email: “jump street merging with mib i think that’s clean and rad and powerful.”

Sony had been moving forward on both 23 Jump Street and Men in Black 4. Per the Journal, Sony is hoping for a 2016 or 2017 release for the crossover movie.

Sony did not immediately respond to EW‘s request for comment.
