On Dec. 8, the Los Angeles Police Department was called to the Park La Brea area to investigate an apparent murder-suicide. According to an LAPD news release, the cops arrived to find two victims in an apartment, both having suffered gunshot wounds.

According to the release, “The initial investigation revealed that 34-year-old Earl Warren Hayes shot his wife, 30-year-old Stephanie Elyse Moseley to death and then took his own life.” Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Hayes, a rapper, has been associated with boxer Floyd Mayweather, and according to a report from TMZ, Mayweather claims he might’ve witnessed the murder-suicide via FaceTime. Hayes reportedly called Mayweather when he thought Moseley was cheating on him.

Moseley, an actress, most recently starred in VH1’s Hit the Floor.
