Watch new footage from the 'Game of Thrones' video game

It seems no one can catch a break in Game of Thrones, whether on the battlefield or in the throne room of King’s Landing. And now fans of the HBO series will have a chance to join the fray among the Lannisters, Starks, and Freys.

Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones is set to debut Tuesday, Dec. 2, and this new launch trailer should prime players on what to expect in the game’s first episode.

A few familiar faces like Cersei and Tyrion Lannister pop up in the trailer, but Telltale’s new game, set in the world of HBO’s series, will focus primarily on a house not seen in the show, House Forrester. Throughout the game’s six episodes, the first of which releases this week, players will control five characters who are part of or act in service to the Forrester family.
