This week on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, when Jake and Amy are tasked with transferring a prisoner, things turn a little romantic. Not with the prisoner—that would be super weird and unprofessional. And not between Jake and Amy—that would be cheating, as they are both spoken for. (Captain Holt would not approve of that end-of-sentence preposition.)

No, Jake (Andy Samberg) decides to invite his new girlfriend Sophia (Eva Longoria) and Amy’s boyfriend Teddy (Kyle Bornheimer) to join them on the road trip, which does not sit well with Amy (Melissa Fumero), who, as it turns out, is having a rough go with her beau. You can get a preview of the potentially doomed situation from this exclusive clip, in which Jake and Sophia attempt to prevent Amy from sabotaging her relationship. Wait a sec. Jake is stopping her breakup? Is he finally over her? Or is he going to try to help her but then realize that he can’t because he still has feelings for her and they’re going to have this big what-does-it-all-mean? conversation while the prisoner escapes in their car?

For these answers and ones to other questions you forgot to ask, check out the episode, which airs Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
