Somehow, some way, Aubrey Plaza and her intramural basketball team, The Pistol Shrimps, made “commercials” for Burger King in 1996. The commercials are filmed like ’90s ads, complete with a brief mention of Space Jam.

Written and directed by Ryan Corrigan, the videos star Steven Brydle and the Pistol Shrimps basketball team. The story of the commercial’s “release” gets more and more fantastical: Pistol Shrimp team member Paisley Grey wrote on her blog saying that the team used a “time machine” to travel back to 1996 to film a commercial for the team’s favorite dining establishment, Burger King. According to Grey, the commercial aired “only once” on Nov. 16, 1996, and was found as a VHS by Corrigan in a Dennis Rodman garage sale in the current day.

Watch the videos and get a whiff of ’90 nostalgia and pine for the days when value meals were only 99 cents.
