A plane Bono was flying on Wednesday lost a door during flight to Berlin. Everyone on the private jet, Bono included, is fine.
“There can be many reasons for this incident,” Germout Freitag, an official from the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation told ABC News. “Either something broke on the door or the door wasn’t closed properly. Those are the usual problems that occur.”
The plane landed safely in Berlin, where Bono is for Germany’s annual BAMBI Awards. He’ll be performing with U2 at the awards ceremony Thursday.
