The 48th Country Music Association Awards slipped a bit in the ratings this year.

The CMA Awards easily dominated Wednesday night in the ratings with 16.1 million viewers and a 4.5 rating among adults 18-49. But that’s down 4 percent from last year, though ABC points out it beat rivals by a greater percentage this time.

Some competitors were unfazed by the awards show, though CBS’ Criminal Minds (2.1 in the demo) fell to an all-time low and new drama Stalker (1.5) took a 6-percent dip. NBC was mostly steady, except for Chicago PD (1.3), which fell 13 percent to a series low. Fox’s Red Band Society (0.9) went down a tenth. The CW was steady.
