AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd charged with attempt to procure murder
AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd appeared in New Zealand court Thursday to face charges of attempting to hire a hitman and drug possession.
Rudd was charged with attempting to procure murder of two people, threatening murder, and meth and marijuana possession, according to the Associated Press. He was released on bail but will appear in court again Nov. 27.
Rudd played drums for AC/DC from 1975 to 1983, and then again from 1994 until the present. He released his first solo album, Head Job, in August.
