Howling vocals, chugging drums, and stacked riffs bathed in distortion—this is what punk rock is all about. “Hate Them All,” a track off Queens-based band Low Fat Getting High’s upcoming record, does all those things, and it does them pretty well.

Clocking in at just over two minutes, “Hate Them All” doesn’t attempt sophistication. The melody worms itself into your ear and refuses to leave, as do singer Michael Sincavage’s Bleach-era Cobain shouts.

The band’s self-titled debut will drop Nov. 11 on Money Fire Records.
