Lorraine Toussaint's Vee will not be returning to 'OITNB' season 3
It’s probably fair to say that Orange is the New Black’s Vee is a goner.
Despite reports this morning from TMZ that said Lorraine Toussaint is on the set today filming as villain Vee for Orange is the New Black, EW has confirmed that Toussaint is not set to be a part of season three.
Viewers last saw Vee being slammed by a van driven by Miss Rosa (Barbara Rosenblat), Mean Girls-style, after escaping from the Litchfield Correctional Facility through the underground drain system. Toussaint previously confirmed Vee’s death, but suggested that the door to that character was not entirely closed. At the OITNB press day earlier this year, Toussaint “wagged her eyebrows suggestively” as she clarified on whether Vee was dead, saying, “They want me to say yes, so I’m going to say yes. But…”
