A collaboration between Joan Jett and Hot Topic feels a little like Britney Spears’ cover of “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll”—it’s Jett’s punk image repurposed for mall culture.

But for the chain’s 25th anniversary, Hot Topic customers can shop from the Joan Jett X TRIPP NYC Fashion Collection for Hot Topic, a team up between Jett, Hot Topic, and Daang Goodman of Tripp NYC. “Working with Daang and TRIPP NYC was effortless, as we approached this collection from the same fashion sensibility and DIY spirit,” Jett said in a statement. “I’m blown away by how the collection turned out – these clothes are some of my favorite new additions to my closet.” (Jett hasn’t always collaborated so well with Hot Topic: Jett’s Blackheart Records Group Inc. only recently settled a federal trademark lawsuit against Hot Topic Inc. over its Blackheart lingerie line, according to Law360.)

The aesthetic of the collection will be unsurprising to anyone who has a passing familiarity with Jett and/or Hot Topic: pleather and zippers abound. The color scheme is red and black. According to Hot Topic’s announcement, Goodman imagines that the eight pieces in the collection are “rock fashion basics.”

Take a look at the fashions, which range in prices from $32.50 to $64.50, below.
