Jimmy Fallon’s celebrity-buds-hanging-out, viral-video-spawning version of the Tonight Show continues to hit new peaks. Now, a song Fallon produced with will.i.am as a joke has found itself on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Ew!” features Fallon and will.i.am in full-on teen girl garb as they make fun of other, similarly awkward girls. Everything is “ew” for the pair, but as will.i.am explains, “I am hating, I am merely conversating.”

The novelty single has shot to No. 26 on the chart, probably thanks to will.i.am’s hook and Fallon’s surprisingly good flow. “This is unbelievable!” Fallon said. “No. 26? I’d be happy with 99!”

This isn’t the first time a Tonight Show host has made the chart: Steve Allen did it twice in 1963, but that was years after he left as host.

He probably didn’t have a hilarious, Questlove-featuring music video.
