Now that the dust has settled from the iPhone 6 hoopla last month, it’s time for Apple to once more hold the tech world hostage for two hours while it shows off its newest rectangles of metal and glass. On Thursday, the company will hold an event at its Cupertino campus, one that you can watch live here at 10 a.m. PDT Thursday. In keeping with its playbook, the company has not said anything about what will occur at the event, but it is widely believed that Apple will update its line of iPads in time for the holiday season, and maybe its iMacs, too.

No real surprises are expected (in the tech world, you expect surprises, which is crazy disruptive)—although that doesn’t preclude any surprise musical guests. What’s Tim Cook’s second favorite band? Coldplay?
