Who you gonna cast? Ray Parker…Jr!

The musician who wrote and recorded the 1984 Ghostbusters theme song will guest star in the upcoming Halloween episode of NBC’s playful romantic comedy A to Z, EW has learned exclusively.

In the Oct. 30 episode—titled “E is for Ectoplasm,” because why not?—Parker will play himself at a monster Halloween bash thrown by Wallflower, the online dating company where Andrew (Ben Feldman) and Stu (Henry Zebrowski) work. Parker arrives on the scene after Stu convinces him to attend in order to boost the company’s profile. Though he won’t be suiting up in the signature Ghostbusters costume, at least two characters will.

The episode also finds Stu and Stephie (Lenora Crichlow) growing increasingly worried that they’re losing their best friends when Andrew and Zelda (Cristin Milioti) decide to team up and throw a joint Halloween party.

The Ghostbusters throwback is just one of the pop culture moments in the episode, which also includes a major ode to Laverne & Shirley.

A to Z airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
