Two days after news broke that Stephen Collins is under investigation for child molestation, the actor’s talent agency has severed ties.
A rep for the Agency for the Performing Arts confirmed to EW that the agency has no longer represents the former 7th Heaven star, but would not comment any further on the decision.
News first broke on Wednesday that the 67-year-old actor was under investigation when TMZ posted an audio from a therapy session between him and his wife at the time, Faye Grant. In the audio, Collins admits he had molested one girl and exposed himself to others. All of the girls were reportedly between the ages of 10 and 13.
In the fallout, Collins was fired from his minor role in Ted 2, multiple networks pulled reruns of 7th Heaven from their schedules, and ABC announced that he will no longer be returning to Scandal, in which he played a TV reporter.
