'Bad Judge' holds steady in ratings, 'Gracepoint' and 'A to Z' drop
Bad Judge held up surprisingly well in the ratings on a Thursday night that saw drops on every broadcast network.
The NBC comedy retained 100 percent of its debut audience in the 18-49 demographic, drawing 5.3 million viewers and a 1.3. Fellow freshman comedy A to Z did not fare so well, with 3.6 million and 1.0, down 17 percent from its debut. As for the rest of NBC, The Biggest Loser was down from last week with 4.6 million, 1.2, while Parenthood was even with 4.3 million, 1.3.
On Fox, Bones was also steady this week with 6.3 million, 1.5, but Gracepoint dropped 25 percent from its debut, drawing 3.9 million, 0.9.
ABC’s dramas all slipped, with Grey’s Anatomy (8.4 million, 2.4) and Scandal (9.5 million, 3.0), dropping 11 percent and 12 percent, respectively. How to Get Away with Murder closed the night down a tad to 10.7 million, 3.1.
Thursday Night Football was down slightly for CBS, drawing 12 million, 3.8, while on The CW, The Vampire Diaries dipped to 1.7 million, 0.7. Reign was steady with 1.1. million, 0.4.
