Scott Foley is joining forces with Shondaland for ABC’s marriage comedy To Max & Paige, EW has confirmed.

The network has given the show a script commitment. Foley (Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy) will pen the script.

The story details toasts given by family and friends at Max and Paige’s wedding rehearsal dinner. Flashbacks follow the couple’s road to marriage, revealing that stories told during the toasts aren’t always spot on.

In addition to writing, Foley will executive produce alongside Shondaland’s Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers and Greg Grunberg.

Foley can currently be seen in the role of Jake Ballard on Rhimes’ Scandal.
