OMG, Seflie premiere ratings are pretty weak, LOL! ABC debuted its social media-skewing comedy last night, but most TV viewers swiped left :(

Seflie, which stars Karen Gillan and John Cho, had 4.9 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. last night. That’s down 55 percent from the debut of The Goldbergs in this slot last year. Selfie led into another new comedy, Manhattan Love Story (4.3 million, 1.3), starring Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman, which also performed very modest. The comedy block came in third place in the hour (Fox’s Utopia came in fourth). ABC’s one potential bragging point here is that both did better than Fox’s comedies, as New Girl and The Mindy Project are really struggling this season.

On the good news front, the second episode of CBS’ Person of Interest ticked up a notch from last week’s premiere. But everything else dipped to varying degrees. CBS’ NCIS: NO (16.4 million, 2.3) held up pretty well, only slipping 8 percent for its second episode. But the second week of ABC’s Agents of SHIELD (4.5 million, 1.7) was down 19 percent and the latest episode of ABC’s immortality drama Forever (5.6 million, 1.3) dropped an alarming 28 percent for its third episode.

More to come, refresh for latest…
