'Better Call Saul' music video to debut during 'Breaking Bad' marathon
You’ll have to wait until early next year to see the first episode of Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul, but you can preview a bit of the action this weekend through the miracle of song.
AMC will unveil a Better Call Saul music video on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. ET/PT (UPDATE: AMC has changed the time to 8:25 p.m. ET/PT) during the final night of its two-month Breaking Bad marathon. Co-written by series creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, and composer Dave Porter (you may remember him from such classics as the Breaking Bad opening theme), the song “Better Call Saul” is performed by country singer/guitarist Junior Brown (who, in totally unrelated news, was the narrator of the Dukes of Hazzard movie).
Saul centers on underhanded attorney Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) in the days before he teamed up with meth lord Walter White (Bryan Cranston).
Saul Goodman, first introduced in Breaking Bad, gets his own Vince Gilligan prequel.
