This is one of the reasons why press screenings were invented.

Denver-based reporter Chris Parente spoke to Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader in a promotional interview for their drama-comedy film, The Skeleton Twins, and it was all going smoothly—at first. Then, Parente launched into a non-sequitur about doing the news completely full-frontal, in the vein of the Wiig’s nude scene in the film—a nude scene that doesn’t exist. Parente insisted that in the film, Wiig not only had a nude scene, but also won the lottery.

Apparently, Parente got the movie’s nude scene mixed up with Wiig’s Welcome to Me. Wiig and Hader poked fun at Parente for not seeing the correct film before speaking to them, but it was all in good fun.

“I thought there were Muppets, there’s no Muppets in this?” Parente said, as Hader, Wiig, and the Internet laughed and laughed.
