Norah Jones performs on George Harrison week on 'Conan'
Norah Jones closed out George Harrison week on Conan on Thursday night with a rendition of “Behind That Locked Door” from Harrison’s 1970 album, All Things Must Pass.
Conan’s tribute to the late Beatle is timed to the release of George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-75, a reissue of Harrison’s first six solo albums. This past week, musical guests such as Beck, Paul Simon, and Harrison’s son Dhani have come on the show to play Harrison’s greatest hits.
O’Brien, along with Jones and numerous other musicians, will be celebrating Harrison’s music at George Fest, a benefit concert at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, on Sunday, Sept. 28. Proceeds will go to the Jameson Neighborhood Fund, which raises money for local charities.
