'Nashville' star Connie Britton to cameo on 'Family Guy'
Even Peter Griffin can’t get enough of Connie Britton.
The undeniably likeable Nashville star—who rocks a great head of hair, by the way, and that is a detail that’s relevant for this story—has recorded a brief cameo for Family Guy, EW has learned exclusively. A cutaway gag in an episode titled “Baking Bad” that will air in October involves Peter breaking into Britton’s home. “She wakes up in bed to discover Peter is munching on her hair,” says executive producer Steve Callaghan, adding: “Especially if you saw her in Friday Night Lights, her hair just looks so yummy, you want to take a bite of it.”
Liam Neeson, Julie Bowen, and Allison Janney are among the other celebrities whose voices will be heard in upcoming Family Guy episodes. But the big event, of course, is the one-hour season premiere on Sept. 28, when the Griffins hang out with the Simpsons in Springfield.
