Although Walking Dead doesn’t return to television until Oct. 12, there’s no need to remain zombie-free until then: The above photo featuring a chain of zombies from EW‘s recent cover shoot for the show is now available to download as a desktop wallpaper.

EW picture editor Michele Romero had the idea for the blurred zombie photo, but she and photographer Dylan Coulter only had the zombie extras for five minutes. “I made them walk back and forth as long as it took to get the shot,” Romero says. “And I learned that zombie extras have to be super skinny because they are very, very hungry.”

EW went behind the scenes with Walking Dead for an exclusive first look at the show’s upcoming fifth season, which isn’t exactly G-rated. “There are families that watch it together, but just so it’s on the record, guys,” star Andrew Lincoln told EW, “it’s a grown-up show this season.”

Along with details about the new season, the latest issue of EW is also available with four separate Walking Dead covers, each featuring a different character from the show ranging from a sword-wielding Michonne to a jumping Daryl.

The Walking Dead issue hits newsstands Friday, and you can click the links below to download the wallpaper.
