The Following is getting a quick turnover in showrunners. Jennifer Johnson, who only recently replaced creator Kevin Williamson as showrunner, is leaving Fox’s serial killer drama. Deadline first reported the news.

In the wake of Johnson’s departure a group of three—Brett Mahoney, Alexi Hawley, and Marcos Siega—will share showrunning duties under creator Williamson. Mahoney and Hawley were previously co-executive producers on the show, but will now be executive producers. Marcos Siega is an executive producer and has directed a number of episodes of the show.

Johnson joined the show in June as Williamson ceded his showrunner duties to focus on his new CBS show Stalker, starring Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q. Johnson is remaining at Warner Bros. Television, but will now focus on development.
