Robert Downey Jr. calls 'Guardians' the best Marvel movie
According to Tony Stark, Tony Stark needs to step up his game.
In an interview with the Toronto Sun, actor Robert Downey, Jr.—Iron Man himself—told the paper that Guardians of the Galaxy, “in some ways, is the best Marvel movie ever.” Surprised? Given the similarities between his portrayal of Tony Stark and his actual public persona, he doesn’t blame you. “It’s odd for someone with—on occasion—an ego the size of mine to actually say that,” said Downey.
The actor was in Toronto for the world premiere of The Judge, which is produced by his production company Team Downey. Downey, Jr. also hinted at a third Sherlock Holmes film, but declined to elaborate. His next appearance as Tony Stark/Iron Man will be in next summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
