On Monday night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, Julia Louis-Dreyfus accepted her third Primetime Emmy for her performance as Selina Meyer on Veep. After accepting the award, she passionately kissed Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston, with whom she had joked a few moments earlier about his recurring role on Seinfeld as her character’s boyfriend, Tim Whatley.

“I have to say, [Veep] is very dense, as you might notice,” Louis-Dreyfus said in her acceptance speech. “It’s a huge labor of love, and every labor of love takes a lot of labor … this one in particular. I want to thank everyone on this show for having such extraordinary grace under pressure and for having so much fun.”

The other actresses nominated in the same field were Lena Dunham (Girls), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Melissa McCarthy (Mike & Molly), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), and Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black).
