The 2014 Emmys will be a tight race, what with the battle between Rust Cohle and Walter White. Will Breaking Bad take one final Outstanding Drama statue before going out in a bullet-ridden blaze of glory? How many times will Matthew McConaughey say ‘Alright, alright alright,’ in his acceptance speech if he wins for True Detective? Can Amy Poehler break free from being a perpetual nominee with a long overdue win? So many questions will be answered tonight—and EW’s Hillary Busis, Darren Franich, Jeff Labrecque, and Mandi Bierly will be here to live-blog the festivities.

The live-blog commences right here on (at this very page) starting at 7 p.m. ET with the Emmys red carpet and will last until the show’s scheduled end at 11 p.m.
