Anyone can edit Wikipedia entries, including those working in the House of Representatives—and thanks to Ed Summers, the developer behind Twitter account @congressedits, we can now know exactly what changes these Congress staffers are making. Summers tracks the edits of users with IP addresses in the Congressional range, and Wednesday, he discovered one anonymous staffer altered transgender actress Laverne Cox’s page.

According to the A.V. ClubCox’s Wikipedia page originally read that she was a “real transgender woman” but the Wikipedia user changed it to read she is “a real man pretending to be a woman.” Calling Cox a “real man” rejects the idea that gender is formed by multiple factors and dismisses her chosen identity as a transgender woman.

Cox plays transgender inmate Sophia on Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Her performance earned her an Emmy nomination this year. She was also the cover star for Times June 9 issue, making her the first openly transgender person to ever appear on the magazine’s cover.

Jenji Kohan’s absorbing ensemble dramedy, based on Piper Kerman’s memoir of the same name, takes viewers inside the walls of Litchfield, a minimum security women’s prison where nothing’s as simple as it seems—especially the inmates.
