Julianne Hough joins 'Dancing With the Stars' as fourth judge
Dancing With the Stars has already announced who the pros will be for season 19, and now there’s another familiar face joining the team. Good Morning America exclusively announced this morning that Julianne Hough will be joining the judges’ panel this upcoming season.
Hough is a two-time DWTS champion herself and has appeared as a guest judge on the show in the past. Now, she will officially add a fourth chair to the judges’ table, sitting alongside returning judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli.
“I’m so excited to be back with my Dancing with the Stars family again on a regular basis,” Hough said in a press release. “I’ve always aspired to be an all-around entertainer, whether I’m acting, dancing or singing, and I’m thrilled for this opportunity that will allow me to continue all of those pursuits. Derek and I just finished our Move Live on Tour, which reminded me how much I miss the interaction with the dance fans that have been so supportive of me in my career. I am warming up the paddles and the sass, and I’m ready to have fun in this new role.”
Dancing with the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
