There have been umpteen adaptations of Stephen King’s works, but very few arrived with a screenplay penned by the Top Dog of Terror himself. One that does is A Good Marriage, the tale of a terrible family secret.

Earlier this week, King revealed to EW why he chose to adapt his novella for the big screen. Now, there’s a trailer for the film, which debuts in cinemas and on VOD on Oct. 3.

A Good Marriage is directed by Peter Askin and stars Joan Allen, Anthony LaPaglia, Stephen Lang, and Kristen Connolly.
