It was the water bottle seen around the world: The stray plastic container on the fireplace mantel of a Downton Abbey publicity photo that—unless the upcoming fifth season does an rather massive time jump—has no place in the crunchy-gravel period drama. After plenty of #wH2oops mocking online, the cast of the ITV/PBS Masterpiece series got in on the fun with this tweeted image:

The Downton team are also directing fans to donate to the charity Wateraid. An ITV spokesperson released this statement to the charity: “After seeing the reaction the picture caused earlier this week, the cast and crew came up with the idea of turning some of this attention towards an issue around water that really matters. They hope that by posing for this picture they will be able to raise awareness and amplify the work of international charity.”
