Zack Snyder knows that with great power comes great responsibility.

That’s why the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director has been very careful not to reveal too many secrets about the Justice League-oriented flick, currently filming in Detroit. But while listening to local radio station 97.1 on his way to work one day, the director decided to call in to clear up some of the Aquaman rumors that have been swimming around the film.

At first, hosts Stoney and Bill weren’t completely sure if “Zack” calling from his cell phone was Mr. Snyder or not. Still, the director went on to defend and potentially tease the inclusion of Aquaman. He didn’t confirm whether or not the rumored Jason Momoa would be playing the role, but said the superhero has some “cool abilities” and has the strength to be able to “cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact.”

Wait—so does that mean they do come in contact then? “It’s not to say that he’s in the movie or anything like that,” Snyder tried to clarify. “But he has the potential to be bad ass.” Listen to the segment here.

Warner Bros. has set a March 25, 2016 release date for the Ben Affleck/Henry Cavill/maybe Jason Momoa film.
